KS1 Teacher

Job Summary:

As a KS1 Teacher at Maxwell School, you will play a vital role in providing personalized academic support and guidance to young learners in their early years of primary education. Responsibilities:

Provide individualized academic support to KS1 students, including those with special educational needs, to facilitate their learning and development.
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to implement strategies for student success and to address individual learning goals and challenges.
Assess student progress through ongoing observation, formative assessments, and other evaluation methods, and communicate findings to parents and caregivers as needed.
Adapt teaching approaches and materials to accommodate the varied learning styles and preferences of students.
Demonstrate flexibility and openness to new ideas and approaches in a dynamic educational setting.


Requirements:

Experience working as a primary teacher, preferably working with KS1 students.
Demonstrated experience working with special needs students and implementing differentiated instructional strategies.
Mother tongue English required.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
Adaptability and a positive attitude towards working in a dynamic and innovative educational environment.
Experience teaching other subject areas will also be valued, as it demonstrates versatility and a willingness to contribute to the broader educational needs of the school community.
Relevant qualifications and documentation necessary to work in a British school in Spain are required. This includes the appropriate teaching certifications and documentation mandated by Spanish educational authorities.
