We’re a language company based in Madrid and are sending a group of Chinese teenage students to Oxford and Cambridge from 2nd-18th December to take an English course focused on preparing for British university entrance interviews. They´ll be receiving normal B2-C1 Cambridge English preparation from English teachers, plus specific training from university professors/master´s students in different degree subjects.
We therefore need one native British EFL (English as a Second Language) teacher in Oxford and another in Cambridge for the duration of this period, Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day. These 8 working hours will be a mixture of formal classes and cultural activities around the cities with the students, who will also be supervised by their own schoolteachers from China and other members of our team.
It will be the teachers’ responsibility to make travel arrangements to and from Oxford or Cambridge if they’re based elsewhere.
The pay is £15 an hour, with a total pay of £1200 for the 2 weeks (10 working days). We´re looking for people with at least 5 years’ experience preparing students for official Cambridge English exams and who have a CELTA or DELTA qualification.
