Full-day English Immersion Experiences for Professionals

The full-day immersion program is designed to ensure you are speaking and improving your English communication skills from the moment you arrive to when you return home, in a reduced group setting of 6 participants  (or one-to-one on request)

The immersion will be led by Adam Punzano, an experienced English language trainer with over 8 years of experience training professionals from over 40+ nationalities at immersion courses in Paris and Belgium.

A three-course lunch will be provided by the local Gran Café Casa Nova restaurant, served in the Masía Can Ratés Gardens.

The guest for the day will be Patrick Nancarrow, CEO and co-founder of TRGT Digital.

Patrick will share his experiences setting up his own successful marketing agency, as well as providing insights in the presentation workshop.

The timetable for the immersion day is as follows:

10:00-11:00 - Session 1 - Ice-breaker & Global Oral Expression

In Session 1 you will have the opportunity to share your professional and personal background as well as the key English communication challenges you experience.

11:00-11:30 - Specific Oral Expression

You will be introduced to an engaging topic through a listening comprehension task, discussing and debating to develop these skills in English.

11:30-11:45- Break in grounds of Masía Can Ratés

11:45-13:15 - Session 2 - Intercultural Communication in English

You will explore the topic of Intercultural Communication, reflecting on cultural differences and the impact this has within professional environments, with a particular focus on different communication styles.

13:15-14:15 - Lunch in Masía Can Ratés Gardens

14:15-14:30 - Free time

14:30-16:00 - Session 3 - Presenting Effectively in English
(with insights from Patrick Nancarrow - CEO, and co-founder of TRGT Digital)

You will discuss the art of presenting effectively in English and be invited to deliver a 3-minute presentation to the group, handling a short Q&A session.

These presentations will be accompanied by feedback on presentation skills during the session, as well as written feedback focusing on language challenges.

16:00-16:15 - break

16:15-17:45 - Session 4 - Handling challenging professional situations in English (e.g. feedback / salary negotiations / dismissals / job interviews)

This will be an opportunity for you to develop your reactivity in professional situations.

17:45-19:30 - Nature walk - (optional)
