English TA Placement in Parets del Valles – Barcelona

Up International offers paid Teaching Assistant placements in schools in Spain, combined with official training in Early Childhood Education.
This programme is designed for native or near-native English speakers who want to gain practical classroom experience, support students’ English learning and develop their professional profile in education.
Key Terms / Main Conditions

Location: School in Paret del Valles, Barcelona
Start date: 18th September 26
End date: 12nd June 27
Teaching  hours: 22 hours per week.
Monthly grant: 990€ 
Educational stages: Early Years (3-6 yo)
Role: The Teaching Assistant will mainly support pupils’ oral English development through small-group work, classroom support, and interactive activities such as games, songs, stories, and talks. They will plan their own sessions with guidance from the English Department and coordinator, use English consistently at school, and collaborate in English Department activities. 

Training: The placement is combined with official training in Early Childhood Education.

Candidate profile: Native or near-native English speakers, preferably with an interest in education, good communication skills, flexibility, responsibility and motivation to work with children.

Requirements: Legal permission to live or study in Spain. Previous experience with children will be valued.

Support provided: Personal and administrative guidance throughout the programme, including support with documentation, accommodation search and adaptation to the school placement.
