English Language Assistant VALENCIA

At Interway we have been helping young people and adults to improve their English since 1980.
We are hiring people of the position of “Auxiliar de Conversación” to support and help in the Intermediate and Higher Level training cycles, who have implemented reinforced multilingualism, in the Valencian Community. 45% in the province of Valencia, 22% in the province of Alicante and 33% in the province of Castellón. 

Salary:
€1,400 net per month. 
Contract from September 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.

Requirements:
University degree (in any field) 

Certified C1 level of English or Native Speaker

Driving licence and own vehicle 

Right to work more than 20 hours per week in Spain.

The TASKS to be carried out by the conversation assistants:

- Specific conversation practice both with students and with teachers of training cycles 
- Giving a little history about the culture of his/her country.
- Collaborate in the creation of materials to support the learning process of the students following the indications of the teaching staff
- Record recordings in your language for language teachers to use as an example of a language's speech native in the target language.
- Contribution to the training of the center's teachers.
They are NOT competences of conversation assistants:
- Direct teaching to groups of students.
- Drafting of the didactic program.
- Preparation or correction of exams, tests, controls, essays or similar exercises.
- Student rating.
- Interview with parents of students or other activities and specific functions of teachers.
- Surveillance of the patio or school cafeteria.
