• What is it?

    • Basically it's a "shotgun method" - for 10 euros we send your cv/resumé to every single language school and academy in your chosen city (for example, Madrid has over 325 and Barcelona over 250 - every city we operate in has at least 100 schools).

  • How does it work?

    • All you do is upload your cv/resumé to us, choose which cities you'd like to send it to and pay us via PayPal. Then we use some clever programming that sends your CV/resumé out gradually over the next 24 hours to every school in those cities: it is not classed as bulk mail and this avoids it being classed as "spam" and ensures that every school sees it.

  • Is it only for English teachers?

    • In fact there is a demand for teachers of all major languages: most of our users are English teachers, but we also find jobs for teachers of other languages including Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian and many others.

  • Sell it to me: why should I use your service?

    • Beat the competition: there are a LOT of people out there looking for work right now - to get a job (especially a decent job) you need to look EVERYWHERE.
    • Save time and therefore cash: time=money!
    • Save energy: making these lists is absolutely exhausting and an utter pain in the arse, believe us.
    • Total coverage: we send to every single reputable school/academy in your chosen city: we go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that our database includes every academy in the city.
    • Accuracy: our databases are incredibly accurate and constantly updated
    • Avoid disreputable schools: our confidential blacklist means you don't send your c.v. to disreputable schools
    • Multiple job offers mean better jobs in better locations for better pay
    • It is very economical: our service costs the price of a couple of beers and saves you days and days of work and stress: it costs less than 5 cents per school!
    • It just works: we've found jobs for many thousands of people, including our own team members

  • Does it work? (which is an obvious, but fair question...!)

    • Yes, otherwise we would not provide this service! Thousands of people have found jobs using our service: we know this because of feedback from our users because the schools we send to tell us that they do hire their staff from the people we send.
    • That said, obviously it is impossible to guarantee that every single person will get a job. People are individuals and employers are not going to call every single person who applies for a job: that is what CVs are for. What we do is cover every school and academy in your chosen city or cities which is something you would have to do yourself anyway - if there's a job out there that's suitable for you then you will find it!

  • What should I include on my cv?

    • Photo: use every asset you have, so unless you look like the Elephant Man then get a nice photo of yourself on there because language teaching is a very visual job: you are the image of the company that hires you.
    • Email address (a respectable one!): don't forget this, otherwise we get a million emails and phone calls asking for it. Also, please don't use a "witty" email address such as hotbuns69@hotmail.com ...seriously!
    • Phone number: again, it's incredible how many people forget this.

  • Can I include a covering letter?

    • Not separately (it's just not practical), but many people use the first page of their Word document as the covering letter and it works really well.

  • What is the best format?

    • Word or PDF documents are fine: make sure the file size is not too big, smaller is better as it downloads much faster for schools. It's better to save an MS Word doc as the '97 version rather than ".docx" as a lot of schools still use the old (incompatible) version.

  • How do I know my cv/resumé won't just go to junk mail?

    • Our system sends resumés out gradually and individually over 24 hours, ensuring that they are seen as real emails and not seen as bulk/junk mail.
    • As a safeguard we contact the schools on our lists personally to make sure that they put our emails on their safe-list (and to make sure our emails go to exactly the right person)

  • How often are your databases updated?

    • Constantly, with a big "spring-clean" every 6 months: it's amazing how many schools pop up (and vanish!) every year, and how many change their email addresses without warning

  • How many schools do you send to?

    • It depends on the city: we do not to operate in places with less than 100 schools, but usually many more: for example, in Madrid we have over 325 and 250 in Barcelona.

  • How do you build your databases?

    • From everywhere! ...now we're much bigger and have been established for several years, new schools now contact us (which is nice!): generally our researchers wade through a great many physical and electronic sources to find every last school: it's a total pain in the arse, which is why people pay us !

  • Are there any risks in sending out my cv/resumé

    • No, we check every school to make sure it's legitimate.
    • However, as in every aspect of life, you need to use some common sense! You should not include any identity-theft sensitive details such as your ID number / social security number / passport number etc., and NEVER EVER send any school money in advance for any reason whatsoever
    • Just to clarify: we have never had any problems in four years of operations and thousands of CVs.
