Hi, my name is Izzy Skovira. I am new to Madrid, working as a auxiliar de conversacion in Fuenlabrada. Previous to arriving in Madrid, I worked for two years at a high school in the state of Connecticut teaching English, Literature, and Special Education. I graduated from New York University in 2014 with degrees in English and American Literature as well as a concentration in Pre-Medicine and minors in Studio Art, Creative Writing, and Chemistry. While at NYU, I competed with the Varsity Track and Field team. If you would like to practice conversation skills, improve your syntax and grammar, learn more about applying to US colleges, or have a native speaker review your assignments and essays, please reach out to me for more information. I am available Tuesday to Friday after 3pm in the city center of Madrid or anywhere along the C-5 Cercanias line.
