Experienced Coordinator for English Program
New English Center, Funny Day English for Fun, is looking for a fun, experienced Native English Coordinator that will coordinate the program and develop rewarding, dynamic English activities/classes for Infantil and Primary age students. The English Coordinator should be comfortable: organizing program’s curriculum, leading/preparing rewarding classes for 10 hours a week, managing a team of two other native English teachers, enlace between center and the Director and opening/closing of English Program Center. Typically, class size is 10 students. The position will start on the 1st of September 2019. The Coordinator should be passionate about teaching/feel comfortable leading and managing a successful team. Most importantly the English Coordinator should know how to connect/relate positively with young learners.
The coordinator position is 15-hours a week for 700€ net and includes Public Spanish Healthcare and Abono de transporte. The permanent class schedule is Mondays-Fridays (17:30-19:30) and the other 5 hours will be devoted to coordinating the program and team. There is also a possibility of adding additional hours in the future and more pay. The Funny Day English Center is located the Urbanización Club de Campo (exit 26 Madrid Burgos A-1). From Plaza de Castilla it takes about a 30-minute Bus (171/193) ride to the English Center.
(1) Be a NATIVE English Speaker and HAVE a Degree from University/College
(2) IMPORTANT MUST HAVE EITHER (1) a European passport with a Spanish N.I.E./T.I.E. OR (2) Non-Europeans must have the Spanish Work Permit/Residence card or equivalent.
(3) Proof of no criminal record by obtaining a Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual. Also proof of no criminal record from your native country.
