Extracurricular classes, 16 hours/week, start Sept 24

Midleton School: English Lab is currently recruiting English language teachers for Primary and Secondary school students for the 2019/20 academic year.

Midleton School is one of the largest English academies in the south of Madrid. Our extra-curricular English classes take place at Colegio San Gabriel in Carabanchel.

We offer:
o	Teaching hours between 13:00 and 17:45, from Monday to Thursday at our partner school Colegio San Gabriel in Carabanchel, plus mandatory professional training on Wednesday 17:50 – 18:45 (=17 hours / week), from October 1 2019 – May 31 2020
o	Small groups of learners with a maximum of 10 students per class

Job requirements:
o	Certification in English as a Second Language teaching
o	Valid work permit for Spain
o	Experience in language teaching to young children and teenagers (general English and test preparation courses)
o	Certified Cambridge English test examiner is a plus
o	Native speaker or non-native speaker with certified native level of English (e.g. Cambridge English: Proficiency)
o	Commitment to professional growth and outstanding customer attention
o	Ability to communicate effectively and be a proactive member of our team

Teacher duties:
o	To plan and deliver student-focused, engaging and fun lessons to students of various age groups – but primarily young learners – with clear and achievable learning aims
o	To collect and report on accurate records on student learning progress
o	To assess students and complete student reports in accordance with course syllabus
o	To attend and actively participate in teacher meetings and teacher training
