Conversation English w/ optional: slang, jargon, and accents
I grew up in Australia, and have worked as a tutor, a teacher's aid and currently as an Inglés Auxiliar (as well as a chef hand, receptionist, escape room manager, electrical sales manager, hostel manager, and ICT support). I have lived in England and Scotland. At the moment I am working with here in Madrid with some American colleagues.

Why do I mention all this?

In order to outline my experience with tutoring and illustrate my vast experience with varied English accents, slang, and jargon.

Want to know why one country has a particular idiom? Curious about a slang word you heard on Netflix? English speaking colleague said something that you don't quite understand?
"No sweat, I got you fam!" (meaning: Don't worry, I can help you!)

I specialise in teaching Practical and Conversation English focusing on getting students to feel comfortable in speaking English beyond the books.

Sometimes people can find that despite studying English for years when it comes to social situations or following conversations there is still that feeling of anxiety and not being able to say what you really want to in the moment.

My aim is to work on this and really help students to feel like they are learning English in a way that they can put their personality into the language. My approach is to feel like you are talking with a friend whilst learning, books can be exhausting and you can find yourself in the dark when it comes to following conversations on your favorite show or in real-life situations.
