Fun English teachers needed LAS TABLAS

Fun English Teacher Needed for Play-Based Learning Academy– Las Tablas, Madrid, school Reggio Emilia.

Here at La Casita de Inglés. We believe that learning should be fun and teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking! Almost all of the planning is provided for you, with teachers only having to contribute one idea to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.). We don’t carry out exams or require teachers to fill out reports and classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class in our after-school programme (although this number can occasionally reach a maximum of 10 if students need to make up on any given week).

We are currently hiring for a school we work with in Las Tablas (Calle Quintanapalla, 10, 28050 Madrid).

Timetable: Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 pm (20 euros/hour after tax). Mondays or Wednesdays from 2:00-4:00 pm prepping the materials for the school at our location in Sanchinarro (near Las Tablas)(15 Euros/hour after tax). There is also the option to work in our many camps and workshops that run throughout the year, as well as great opportunity for growth within the company: managerial roles, using hobbies or talents you may have to organize workshops or even joining us at our central office.

What we’re looking for: Fun, creative and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids. You must also have at least one year’s experience teaching or working with children in some capacity, as well as a perfect native English accent, or accent from any English speaking country.
