Native English Teacher Madrid
IC Idiomas is hiring Native English teachers starting as soon as possible.
Candidates must have a university degree along with a CELTA/TEFL/Young Learners Certificate, and preferably a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
Positions include working with small children, teens in schools and adults in companies.
Our children's classes take place in schools around the city, in groups of approximately 15 students, and are considered an extracurricular activity complementing the children's normal school studies in English, as well as Cambridge exam preparation (KET, PET, FCE, CAE) Teachers must have a high level of integrity and personal responsibility along with the capacity to create dynamic classes which are well organized, with a wide range of activities. Ages range from 3 to 17.
Adult classes are held in the companies where the students work. We teach all levels, from Beginners to Proficiency. Most in-company classes are general English, but occasionally we teach business English.
Foreign candidates of all nationalities are required to have a Spanish residence permit (N.I.E.). For European Union nationals this simply means applying for residence on arrival in Madrid. Applicants from non-European Union countries will only be granted interviews if they are already in possession of a valid Spanish residence permit/work permit.
Fixed salary, contracts run from January to June 2020
1,000 to 1200 euros gross/monthly
15-18 teaching hours from Monday to Friday
Full Social Security contract and Public Health Care.
All local and national holidays paid including 1 week at Easter.
