UCETAM: Experienced Native English Assistant for Preschool

UCETAM is looking for a passionate, experienced Native English Assistant that teaches rewarding, dynamic English classes to preschool age students ranging in age from 1 years of age to 3 years of age. The majority of classes are 1-year-olds to 3-year-olds. There are 4 Cambridge classes per week with 4 to 6-year-olds. Typically, class size is between 25 to 30 students. The position will start on the 2nd of March until the 16th of June 2020. The English Language Assistant should be passionate about teaching and feel comfortable leading and planning classes for preschool age children. Most importantly you should know how to connect and relate positively with young age learners.

The English Language Assistant position is 1,300€ net (26-hours per week), free public healthcare and free lunches. The schedule is Mondays-Thursdays (9:00-16:00) and Fridays (9:00-12:45). From the Atocha, it is a 23-minute train ride. The Cercanías/train stop is Las Retamas. It is an 8-minute walk to the school from Las Retamas.

Requirements: 

(1) Be a NATIVE English Speaker and HAVE a Degree from University/College

(2) IMPORTANT MUST HAVE EITHER a European passport with a Spanish N.I.E./T.I.E. OR Non-Europeans must have the Spanish T.I.E./N.I.E. card that will not expire until after June 16th, 2020 OR just expired through Spain’s Ministry of Education Auxiliares de Conversación Program or public university.

(3) Proof of no criminal record by obtaining a Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual. Also proof of no criminal record from your native country.
