English teacher (since 2002)

I am a Spanish CELTA certified teacher with over 15 years of experience as an ESL teacher (private and groups of all levels and ages). I have successfully prepared students for the internationally recognized certificates (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE and IELTS), as well as for academic or business purposes, and personally obtained the Cambridge: Proficiency certificate.

I am a proactive and dynamic teacher and always build good rapport with my students as I really enjoy teaching and learning from them, which allows me to cater to their specific needs. 

Being Spanish helps me to have a better understanding of my students' struggles with the language; it allows me to anticipate and adapt my lesson plans while keeping in mind that teachers should guide the students' learning experience, eliciting answers more than giving them and providing with as much practice time (of all four skills) as possible.
