I am originally from the United States but live and work in Spain working as an auxiliary and a private English tutor. I have been studying how to teach English for the last 4 years and have had the chance to have lots experiences in the classroom as a new teachers with a variety of ages and language levels.

My biggest concern in my classes is making sure I tailor the information to each learner's needs so that they are able to feel comfortable and motivated in learning the topic. I like to create fun dynamic classes based on the goals, interests, and needs of my students. For example, since I teach English is important to me that students are able to grasp the main basic concepts (grammar, vocabulary, syntax, etc.) but also that they are able to use what they've learned and put it into practice. For this reason, many of my classes are conversationally based, with an emphasis on real-world usage. I also feel that as a language learner and ex-pat myself I am able to relate to the problems that others in the same position might have.
