HEALTHCARE ENGLISH WITH KATE

I’m Kate, a qualified Occupational Therapist from Manchester, UK.   I currently work in a hospital as an Occupational Therapist and took a career break from 2018- 2019 to move to Spain and work as a Language Assistant in a school teaching English to 3-14 year olds.  I found teaching extremely rewarding and I would like to continue to support others learning the language, specialising in teaching English to health professionals. 

Day to day I work alongside various professionals including Medics, Psychologists, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (Physiotherapist/ Occupational Therapists etc).  I aim to help students within these roles to communicate confidently and clearly with patients and colleagues in a health setting.  During lessons, we can focus on improving all key skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, which are required within this professional environment. If there is something that you would like to specifically focus on, I can plan my lessons to help you achieve your personal goals. I aim to make the lessons as fun and engaging as possible using various materials.

1 hour session- 25 euros
30 minute session- 15 euros
