Primary Assistant

TEFL Teachers Madrid is assisting a concertado school in Madrid with selection of a primary assistant for their school.

Requirements:
*Native English speaker
*Valid NIE/TIE/DNI
*Spanish Social Security number or registered freelancer (autonomo)
*Already has or can obtain a Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual prior to starting work. The certificate must be less than 6 months old.
*Prior experience working with children, especially in a group setting.
*Able to commit to the length of the school year.
*Willing to speak in English 100% of the time

*Location:  Carabanchel neighborhood (Line 5) with a Cercanias station less than 15 min walk from school
*Transport Zone: A
*Pay: 1025€ net per month on contract / higher for autonomos
*Schedule: 24 teaching hours + 1 hour of meetings scheduled from Monday to Friday between 9:25 AM and 4:35 PM
*Start Date: October 1st (non-negotiable)
*End Date: May 31st

Position Details:
Experienced primary teaching assistant that is creative and has initiative wanted to work at a lovely school with a fantastic work environment. Teacher will only work with Primary 2-5 students meeting twice a week with each group. 
Will need to feel comfortable planning speaking activities and games as well as leading the class on their own.

Preferable:
*Speaks or understands some Spanish.
*Commitment or interest in working with underpriviledged kids.
