English teachers needed - Getafe, Majadahonda, Alcobendas

Description  We are currently hiring teachers for our after school program in the coming academic year from September 10th 2021 - June 2022. Our after-school program runs on weekday afternoons from 17:30 - 19:30 (15 euros / hour after tax) and 11:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays (20 euros / hour after tax). There would also be the possibility of picking up extra hours depending on availability, as well as the opportunity to work our many day camps and workshops that run throughout the year.  We also hold a 6 week long summer camp beginning in June.  


 Available shifts:
Alcobendas: Saturdays 11:00 - 13:00
Getafe: Mondays - Fridays 17:30 - 19:30 ´+ Saturdays 11-13:00 
 Majadahonda: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 17:30 - 19:30  


IMPORTANT: If your schedule doesn't allow you to take on any of the shifts listed above, please do not apply. It's very likely that more shifts will open up over the coming weeks which you would have the option of taking.
 

What we’re looking for: 
Fun, creative and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids. 
You must also have at least one year’s experience teaching or working with children in some capacity. 
You must have a native/bilingual level of English and accent regardless of nationality. This means that all nationalities are welcome, as long as your spoken English is at a native/bilingual level. 
You must have permission to work in Spain (student visa, work permit, EU/Spanish resident, etc.). You must also have a Spanish Social Security Number (NSS) and a background check (Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual) issued on or after September 2020. IMPORTANT: If you do not have any of these documents at the time of application, you will still be considered, as long as you obtain them before you begin working with us. 
About Us: La Casita de Inglés is a play-based academy. We believe that learning should be fun and teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking. All of the materials and planning are provided for you, with teachers only having to contribute one idea to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.). We don’t carry out exams or require teachers to fill out reports and classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class.
