JUNIOR TRANSLATOR (SPANISH TO ENGLISH. NATIVE ENGLISH)

At Global Alumni, the first Euro-American EdTech, we have successfully broken down physical and language barriers, bringing knowledge and prestige from some of the world’s best universities to any professional in a digital, globalized and ever-changing environment.
As education shifts into online and hybrid formats, we are aligned with universities’ need to create and develop digital content for their postgraduate courses. We also offer higher education institutions marketing services for these programs, from strategic planning and the design of campaigns to their effective launching on all relevant digital platforms. Our marketing efforts are targeted to a multicultural audience that spans across six different languages. 
Global Alumni is rapidly expanding and in order to meet our growing objectives, we need to incorporate Translators (from Spanish to English) into our Translation department.

Responsibilities/Tasks
•	Translation of educational and academic content, as well as promotional content from Spanish to English.
•	Cultural adaptation of the content
•	Reviewing and optimization of translations to English.
•	Support to the Content Creation Department.
•	Reports to the Head of Department.
•	Provide alternative solutions by bringing new ideas

Requirements:
•	Excellent translation and cultural adaptation skills.
•	Degree in Translation and Interpreting, English or similar (e.g., Humanities degrees)
•	Essential: Native level of English (American preferred)
•	Outstanding knowledge of American English and American culture.
•	Advanced level of Spanish (C1/C2)
•	At least 1 year experience in translation.
•	Excellent writing and editing skills.
•	Great attention to detail.
•	Organized.
•	Experience in the education sector is a plus.

•	Translation software (Trados/Memsource)
•	CMS (Digital)
•	It is not mandatory to have experience with this software, we can train you.
