Young Learners English Teacher in Las Tablas

TEFL Teachers Madrid is assisting with the selection of a native English teaching assistant for a school in Las Tablas.

Start Date: Tuesday, Jan 11th
Location: Zone A of Madrid
Nearest Metro: Las Tablas + 12 min walk
Pay: 1131 € net per month on contract
Age groups: infantil (4 year olds) and primary students
Schedule: 25 hours a week with work starting at 9:45 every day. Classes finish at 6 PM on Mon/Wed, 4 PM on Tues/Thurs and 5 PM on Fridays

Role: Infantil and Primary Assistant
In infantil the role involves planning, leading and conducting activities with the whole class based on monthly vocabulary objectives (games, songs, stories, etc - no worksheets)
In primary the role is more of an assistant / co-teacher
Extra-escolar as sole teacher for a group of students in 1 Primary

Requirements: prior experience as a teacher or assistant at a school with both age groups. Confidence leading the class on your own with a teacher in the room, but mostly unsupported. Native speaker.
