English Teacher for Extra-curricular classes

Midleton School: English Lab is looking for an experienced English language teacher for Infantíl, Primary and High School extra-curricular classes for the 2022/23 academic year.

We offer:

Teaching hours between 14:00 and 18:45, from Monday to Thursday at our partner school Colegio San Gabriel in Carabanchel, and between 16:00 - 20:00 on Fridays at our academy in Getafe.
Professional support in the form of assistance with lesson planning and coaching.
Small groups of learners with a maximum of ten students per class

Job requirements:

Teaching qualification (TEFL, CELTA, CertTESOL, equivalent or higher)
Valid work permit for Spain
Experience in language teaching to very young children
Experience in preparation for Cambridge English tests for young learners is preferred
Native speaker or non-native speaker with certified native level of English (e.g. Cambridge English: Proficiency)
Ability to communicate effectively and be a proactive member of our team

Teacher duties:

To plan and deliver student-focused, engaging and fun lessons
To ensure the children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
To keep clean and organized classrooms
To report on student learning progress and general behaviour in class
