Academic Coordinator
Job Description
- Assist with the search, selection, and training of teaching staff.
- Keeping track of any teachers that have requested time off/are ill.
- Helping with recruitment of substitute teachers and substituting when necessary.
- Liaising with on-site coordinators when applicable.
- Visiting schools regularly.
- Observe and support teachers both by visiting schools and by scheduling virtual catchup sessions.
- Conducting meetings and webinars to address staff needs.
Requirements:
- Languages: Native or C2 level of English and C1 minimum level of Spanish
- TEFL Certification (CELTA or Trinity TESOL preferred)
- 3+ years of English teaching experience (must include teaching groups and teaching students from ages 3-18)

Type of Offer: Indefinido Contract
Start date: September 1, 2022 with hiring opportunities from now until then for extra income
Please note: Academic coordinators must be willing and able to visit different school in the Greater Madrid Area (Comunidad de Madrid) daily.
