Midleton School is currently recruiting English language teachers for the 2022/23 academic year.

Midleton School is one of the largest English academies in the south of Madrid. Our two centres, located in El Casar (Getafe), are easily reached by a short 17-minute train ride from Atocha Renfe.

We offer:

Block hours in the evening, from Monday to Friday
Continuous professional development in the form of training sessions, coaching and mentoring, as well as training by external providers
Modern classroom facilities with smartboards and small groups of learners with a maximum of six students per class

Job requirements:

Teaching qualification (CELTA, CertTESOL, equivalent or higher)
Valid work permit for Spain
Experience in teaching a variety of age groups and course types (General English, Test Preparation Courses, etc) is preferred
Native speaker or non-native speaker with certified native level of English (e.g. Cambridge English: Proficiency)
Commitment to professional growth and outstanding customer attention
Ability to communicate effectively and be a proactive member of our team

Teacher duties:

To plan and deliver student-focused lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels, with clear and achievable learning aims
To collect and report on accurate records on student learning progress
To assess students and complete student reports in accordance with school curriculum and course syllabus
To deliver placement tests
To attend and actively participate in teacher meetings and teacher training
