EDUCATIONAL COORDINATOR-Head of Examinations
Based in Madrid, Spain, We are a small startup school (with British curriculum) and  currently we have an immediate position open as an educational coordinator with following tasks and responsibilities:
The main role is
1. To monitor, evaluate and develop the reporting and recording procedures and the
general assessment practices of the school as exam administrator.
2. To organise, evaluate and monitor the resources regarding examinations and
university applications of the school as well as coordinate with the department
heads(specially SEN related…invigilators, laptops…)
3. Responsible for all access arrangements and procedures related to student
examinations.
4. To organise, prepare and control the timetables and general administration
related to the official examinations generated by the school or their heads.
5. To contact families and students, in order to generate trust and confidence in
the school, in relation to examinations and university applications .
6. To take courses in Exams Officer role for both AQA/Edexcel and any
available UCAS, C-APP, UNED training
7. Updating AQA/Edexcel policies regarding examinations
8. Responsible for Spanish qualifications and inspections by generating official
certificates and documentation.
9. To be responsible for generating risk assessment policies for any external
activity.
10. Responsible for keeping the school up-to-date over the latest UCAS.
C-APP,UNED and Examinations officer courses and CPDS.
11. Keep up-to-date with changes in educational theory and subject requirements: the
National Curriculum; Common Entrance and Scholarship expectations;
12. Enter pupils for Common Entrance examinations and order past CE papers as
requested
13. Upload all relevant information to the Google Drive website for Inspection
purposes; Organize, with the Headmaster, scholarship assessments for internal
candidates;
14. Assist in the preparation of pupils for senior school tests, interviews and
university applications ;
15. Prepare and administer the assessment of new pupils (English examinations…);
and liaise with external english courses leading to English Language
Qualifications.
16. Create and order the books and resources that we need for students following
the guidelines of AQA and Edexcel.
17. To collate and create the predicted grade documentation.
Working hours: Monday to friday 8:30 - 17:00
Location: Alcobendas - Madrid (300 meters from "La Moraleja" metro station.
