Media Sales Director

International communications agency based in Madrid is looking for a media sales director to produce branded content in prestigious global media full-time. 

If you have a winning attitude & are highly motivated, we are a small, flexible company that has an exciting sales position for integrated, multi-media advertising plans. This position is responsible for generating revenue through the sales of print and digital branded content on global media.

The successful candidate will enhance relationships and target potential advertisers to acquire new accounts. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected to develop advertising programs that address high level clients and their needs as well as grow revenue. Well-developed organization and planning skills are important to success.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or commensurate work experience valued

·       Prior experience with communication or sales experience preferred

·       Experience in consultative selling process, including pre-call discovery and setting appointments, completing a comprehensive needs analysis with potential clients, creating proposals, presenting and closing

·       The ability to use research materials and data to create marketing solution proposals using PowerPoint

Skills, experience, & attributes:

·       Strong desire to bring positive energy and strong sales activity to the team

·       Keen ability to identify and present big picture concepts, yet pay attention to detail

·       Flawless written and verbal communication skills, native English speaker a must

·       Spanish, French and Portuguese valued

·       Ability to multitask

·       Competent knowledge of global events & politics

·       Skill at verbal presentations on a high-level

·       Ability for international travel (2 week stints)

·       A valid driver’s license preferred
