We have a vacancy for a teacher of Mathematics in this popular, well-subscribed school on the outskirts of Madrid. The role would involve teaching Mathematics in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 IGCSE
The teacher appointed to the present full-time post will form part of a close and supportive department of four teachers. The post would be to commence immediately.
To implement and deliver the UK National Curriculum according to the age, aptitude and the abilities of the pupils being taught which maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside of the classroom at all times. They will contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and members of the board of directors. We are looking for an exceptional teacher who has at least 2 years experience teaching the subject with students aged 11-18 , and who are committed to a strive for excellence and continuous improvement. They will be be in the possession of an EU passport or the right to work in Spain.
This position will be responsible for the following:
• Teaching a full-time timetable.
• Planning and delivering a range
of classes across Key Stages
3-5.
• Commitment and interest in
group planning.
• Tutorial responsibilities.
• Willingness to take part in
educational trips and visits.
