Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Japanese to adults in an international environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills, fostering positive and productive classroom environments
Ability to effectively explain grammar, and vocabulary, and provide examples to meet learning goals
Proficiency in creating and following a curriculum for the academic year
Understanding of testing and evaluation methods for placement and advancement
Experience with differentiating content and instruction within a homogenous group of students
Mother tongue English - proficiency
Responsibilities:
Conducting online Chinese language classes for adults
Designing and implementing engaging and effective lessons to meet the learning needs of diverse adult learners
Utilizing various teaching methodologies and resources to facilitate language acquisition
Assessing students' progress and providing timely feedback to enhance their language skills
Collaborating with fellow teachers and academic staff to develop and enhance the curriculum
Maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
Establishing a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to effective learning
