Fun Teachers Needed in Madrid 2024/2025
Here at La Casita de Inglés, we believe that learning should be fun! We teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking! Almost all of the planning is provided for you, with teachers only having to tailor some of the ideas provided to them related to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.) to their specific groups. We don’t carry out exams and only require teachers to fill out progress reports every trimester. Classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class in our after-school programme (although this number can occasionally reach a maximum of 10 if students need to make up on any given week).
Our after-school program generally runs from: Mondays-Fridays 17:30-19:30 (15€/hour after tax) and 11:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays (20€/hour after tax). It is not necessary to work every day, although we prefer you work with us for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week.

We are currently hiring primarily for the following locations:

- Ensanche de Vallecas - Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 17:30-19:30 & Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
- Alcobendas - Monday-Friday from 17:30-19:30 & Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
- Boadilla del Monte - Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
- Getafe - Monday-Friday from 17:30-19:30 & Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
- Leganés - Monday-Friday from 17:30-19:30 & Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
- Majadahonda - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30-19:30 & Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
- Montecarmelo - Wednesdays from 16:30-18:30 & Thursdays from 17:30-19:30.
- Pozuelo - Monday-Thursdays from 17:30-19:30 & Saturdays from 11:00-13:00.
The hiring process includes a brief interview and two trial classes.

We are also always hiring substitute teachers. As a sub, you can work in any of our Madrid locations, with a 4 shift monthly minimum. Then, when we have new permanent shifts become available, we pull from the sub pool first.
What we’re looking for: Fun, creative and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids. You must also have at least six months of experience teaching or working with children in a professional capacity (not just babysitting or nannying, for example), as well as a perfect NATIVE English accent/C2 English certificate, or accent from any English speaking country.
