Advanced and Business English instructor (ex-NASA, Facebook)

Hi! I'm Michael Garner, and I have experience teaching English as well as working in academia, in industry (Facebook/Meta, etc) for the United States government (NASA, etc), and even in the nonprofit world. I'm here to help you take your English skills to the next level!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's in International Affairs, and have worked in academia writing academic papers, so I'm happy to assist with writing tasks--even advanced ones. I can also help you communicate with more fluency and precision.

From my experience in industry, I'm happy to help with everything from interviews and cover letters to the day-to-day vocabulary you'll need to succeed at a Fortune 500 company.

I like to make my classes fun, but also engaging and interesting. I taught English in Taiwan for a few years, and speak Chinese, Spanish, and some French. I'm excited to meet you!
