English Reading and Phonics Teacher (British English)

Is your child learning to read at a bilingual school, or requiring English speaking practice?

I offer in-person classes in the Ventas/El Carmen area (online also available for those further afield). 

My lessons cover vocabulary and phonics practice, tailored to your child’s age and English/reading level. 

I follow the Jolly Phonics curriculum, which teaches children to associate an action with each sound. Then sounds are blended together to read words. After your child is comfortable reading short words, we progress to phrases and sentences in books. I have access to hundreds of books to read in class, so your child can engage with English through magical stories. 

Online: 30 minutes (12 Euro) or 1 hour (24 Euro) 
In-person in the Ventas area: 45-minute classes (30 Euro)
