Full time English Teacher

Midleton School is currently recruiting English language teachers for this academic year.

Midleton School is one of the largest English academies in the south of Madrid. Our two centres, located in El Casar (Getafe), are easily reached by a short 17-minute train ride from Atocha Renfe.

This full-time position is well suited to teachers who enjoy working with a wide range of learner levels and types as well as developing together with their peers as part of a structured training and development programme.

Based in one of our 2 centres in Getafe, you will work closely with learners, helping them develop their abilities in all skills and systems. You will also take part in our structured teacher training and development programme which aims to help teachers in:
Building strong rapport with learners
Establishing relevant development goals
Using feedback in order to improve as a teacher
Trying out new methods, approaches and techniques in the classroom
Meeting the needs of learners through differentiation

We offer:
A 25 hr/week contract with 24 teaching hours and one admin/development hour.
Block hours in the evenings, from 4.15pm - 9.30pm Monday to Thursday and 4 - 8pm on Friday
A structured and personalised development programme
Modern classroom facilities with smartboards and small groups of learners with a maximum of six students per class
'Fijo discontinuo' contract from September to June with possibility of supplementary hours throughout the year as well as summer work either online or at our summer camps.

€1358/month gross base salary, increments dependent on qualifications.
