Full Time English Teacher

Midleton School is currently recruiting English language teachers for this academic year.

This full-time position is well suited to teachers who enjoy working with a wide range of learner levels and types as well as developing together with their peers as part of a structured training and development programme.

You will work closely with learners, helping them develop their abilities in all skills and systems. 

We offer:

A 25 hr/week contract with 24 teaching hours and one admin/development hour.
Block hours in the evenings, from 4.15pm - 9.30pm Monday to Thursday and 4 - 8pm on Friday
Modern classroom facilities with smartboards and small groups of learners with a maximum of six students per class
'Fijo discotinuo' contract from January to June with possibility of supplementary hours throughout the year as well as summer work either online or at our summer camps.
€1358/month gross base salary, increments dependent on qualifications.

Job requirements:

Celta, CertTESOL or equivalent minimum (Delta, DipTESOL or MA TESOL desirable)
Able to work in the EU
Experience in teaching a variety of age groups and course types (General English, Test Preparation Courses, etc) is preferred
Highly Proficient User of English
Having a reflective attitude - taking on feedback to develop
Commitment to professional growth and outstanding customer attention
Ability to communicate effectively and be a proactive member of our team

Teacher duties:

To plan and deliver student-focused, dynamic and engaging lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels, with clear and achievable learning aims
To use a wide range of methods, approaches and techniques in order to teach young learner, teen and adult classes
To collect and report on accurate records of student learning progress
To assess students and complete student reports in accordance with school curriculum and course syllabus
To attend and actively participate in teacher meetings and teacher training
