Private Secondary Teacher (Canadian CV) – Marbella & Cancun

We are seeking a thoughtful, engaging, and experienced full-time private teacher to deliver a Canadian Secondary III (Grade 9) home-schooling curriculum in a one-on-one setting. This is an exceptional opportunity to teach in a calm, focused environment while living between Marbella, Spain and Cancun, Mexico.

About the Role

Guide one bright, motivated student through the Canadian Secondary III home-schooling program, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, global awareness, and curiosity.
All teaching will be conducted in English, blending academic instruction with open conversation and project-based learning.
The ideal candidate will be open to a minimum 3-year commitment, fostering long-term mentorship and academic consistency.
Ideal Candidate

Experienced secondary-level educator, tutor, or private instructor
Confident in designing and delivering lessons that follow a Canadian-style curriculum
Passionate about politics, economics, world affairs, and helping students think independently
Fluent English speaker
Based in Marbella or nearby, with the ability to travel to Cancun for 5 months of the year.
Adaptable, intellectually curious, and values a close teacher-student connection
What We Offer

Annual salary: €55,000–€75,000, depending on experience
All living expenses (housing, food, transportation) covered in Cancun
Round-trip airfare between Marbella and Cancun

Note:  This position is open to candidates already based in or near Marbella. While in Marbella, the teacher is expected to live at home; all living expenses are covered while in Cancun.
