KS2 Class Teacher – Full-Time | Madrid | September Start

Maxwell School, a British school in Madrid, is looking for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our team from September. This is a full-time, permanent position as a class teacher for a Year 5/6 group. We are seeking a motivated educator who is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Key responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the British Curriculum (KS2) Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Monitor and assess student progress Work closely with colleagues and families Requirements: Relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5/6 preferred) Fluent English speaker with the ability to teach effectively in English Strong communication and organisational skills Experience working with children with special educational needs Desirable: Availability to begin a trial period in June (not essential) A strong background in specific subjects such as Music, PE or Art would be an advantage We offer: A supportive and friendly school environment Opportunities for professional development The chance to be part of a growing British school community in Madrid .If you are enthusiastic about teaching and would like to join our team, we would love to hear from you.
