TRANSLATOR ENGLISH TO SPANISH. MOTHER TONGUE: ENGLISH

Global Alumni is a company in the education and e-learning sector. We are a multidisciplinary team who are dedicated to the management of postgraduate programs from some of the best universities in the world (executive education, masters, certificates, etc.).

What are we looking for?
We are looking for Translators (Spanish to English), with a native-speaker level of English (American preferred), to work in our offices in Madrid. The main responsibility will be the translation of content for the American and Spanish universities we work with, as well as editing content. In addition to this, we are looking for individuals who can manage deadlines, all of this while providing support to various other teams and departments.

Responsibilities/Tasks
•	Translation of educational and academic content, as well as promotional content
•	Editing, proofreading and quality control of written content
•	Cultural adaptation of the content
•	Academic and postgraduate training content writing
•	Reviewing and optimization of translations to English
•	Coordination with other teams in a transversal manner
•	Support to the Content Creation Department
•	Reports to the Head of Department
•	Provide alternative solutions by bringing new ideas

Training and Experience:
•	Degree in Translation and Interpreting, English or similar (e.g., Humanities degrees)
•	Essential: Native level of English (American preferred)
•	Advanced level of Spanish (C1/C2)
•	At least 3 years’ experience in translation and editing
