Actor wanted

We are recruiting an actor to participate in our 'Acting and Workshops' tour. Our repertoire will include thoughtful and interactive adaptations of Fairy Tales and English classics as well as original comedic sketches. Performances consist of material adapted for a particular language level, focusing on a particular theme and grammatical point. This group works exclusively with primary and middle school age groups.

REHEARSAL AGREEMENTS
* Dates: October 7th-19th in Sanremo, Italy
* Accommodation
* Educo will provide a flight contribution to actors traveling to Italy

TOUR AGREEMENTS
* Dates: October 21st - Dec 20th
* Accommodations
* Monthly payment
* Car/petrol costs, work insurance
* The potential to earn bonuses- dependent on the fulfillment of the Employment Conditions

REQUIREMENTS
* Be aged 18 or over
* Be a native / highly proficient English speaker
* Have a formal qualification in Performing Arts, Theatre in Education or Foreign languages
* Teaching or workshop experience
* Experience working with children (TEFL preferred)
* Hold a valid drivers license (Manual preferred)
* Provide an International Child Protection Certificate if offered a position
* Have an EU passport, a Working Holiday Visa (applicable only to Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and South Korean applicants) or another relevant visa which allows you to work in Italy.

EDUCO organizes English language projects for Italian students and teachers on a national level.
Our projects include full immersion English summer camps for children, a theatre-in-education tour (TEATRINO), CLIL workshops, and international teachers’ courses.

TEATRINO is EDUCO’s Theatre in Education programme. Operating successfully for over 15 years, it is the largest and most diverse of its kind in Italy. We at Teatrino make it our mission to teach and promote spoken English to children in a fun and interactive way, through various areas of the performing arts, including acting, singing, dancing, music and also puppetry. All of our repertoire is in line with the Common European Framework (CEFR).
