FULL-TIME POSITIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2023

We are currently hiring for positions starting in September and October of 2023. We are a small school in Morata de Tajuña, a 30-minute bus ride from Madrid and are entering our fifth year. We currently have over 320 students and pride ourselves on our relationship with students and caregivers. We have five full-time teachers and are looking to add to this number. OUR CLASSES We teach a wide range of levels and ages, with classes starting at three years old. Our Young Learners follow the levels of Starters, Movers and Flyers with teenage learners studying for Cambridge exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE). The vast majority of our classes are with children and teenagers with only around 20% of classes with adults. Adult classes are a mixture of general English, exam classes and some online business classes. Classes are focussed on communicative skills with lots of speaking activities and games, especially with young learners. We have whiteboards and projectors in each classroom and laptops can be provided. The maximum class size is 11 students. YOU We are looking for teachers with at least three years of experience and who hold relevant TEFL qualifications and a degree, preferably in a related field. You will be comfortable working with a range of ages and levels and be comfortable manging classes and dealing with any problems which may arise. Experience of teaching Cambridge exams is a must and this will be looked at more closely during the interview stage. It is important to note that if you want to live in Madrid, you must be prepared to commute to and from Morata daily. There is a bus which leaves the village five minutes after classes finish and gets you to Madrid within half an hour. Alternatively, accommodation can be found in the village at very reasonable prices. WORKING CONDITIONS We offer full-time contracts of 20 teaching hours per week at 1680€ gross per month. Extra hours are paid at 21€ per hour gross. Part-time positions are also available and salary reviews will be conducted periodically. Classes are held Monday-Thursday with alternate Fridays.
